Hertfordshire Building Control, which provides Building Control services on behalf of Dacorum, Hertsmere, Broxbourne, Stevenage, East Herts, North Herts and Welwyn Hatfield Borough Councils, is delighted to celebrate the third year of the HBC Awards, recognising the outstanding projects and people helping to shape the built environment across our region.
The awards celebrate projects completed during 2025 and recognise excellence across a range of categories. Entries are judged against several criteria including compliance with Building Regulations, accessibility and inclusive design, sustainability and energy efficiency, quality of construction and customer satisfaction.
Gary Cass, CEO of HBC said
“The HBC Awards continue to grow year on year, and it has been fantastic to see the quality, variety and innovation demonstrated across this year’s entries. These awards are about recognising the people and projects that help create safe, sustainable and high-quality buildings across our communities. The standard of entries was strong and showcased the skill, care and professionalism of everyone involved, from homeowners and architects to builders, developers and project teams.
